Cops offer tips to fight catalytic converter thefts / Village shores up leadership team / Chanukah events set

Police probe rash of catalytic converter thefts In wake of a series of catalytic converter thefts, the Police Department has issued guidelines to residents in an effort to prevent theft. According to police, catalytic converter thefts generally occur during overnight hours. Residents are urged to park cars in garages and well-lit areas, and call 9-1-1 to report suspicious activity. Police that catalytic converter thefts recently occurred: ·         In 1400 Block of Mill Creek Dr. where a resident told police their catalytic converter was taken off their vehicle while it was parked on the driveway overnight. ·         In the   400 Block of Cedar Ct. S. where the resident reported their catalytic converter was stolen from their vehicle while it was parked on the driveway overnight. ·         In the 1100 Block of Johnson Dr. where resident reported their catalytic converter was stolen from their vehicle
