Police offer preventive tips in light of “uptick” in burglaries, vehicle thefts              With at least four residential burglaries and three vehicle thefts in the past three weeks, Buffalo Grove Police have listed some preventive measures at this link.             Tips focus on things residents can do if they plan to travel during the holiday season.  In addition to vehicle thefts and home burglaries, the department also reports a slight increase in the thefts of catalytic converters from cars.
