The three incumbents in the race for village trustee, Denice Bocek, Joanne Johnson and Lester Ottenheimer, have retained their spots on the Village Board.With 100 percent of the precincts reporting in the Cook County portion of the village, Johnson tallied 868 votes (27.23%), Bocek 828 (25.97%) and Ottenheimer 808 (25.35%). Challenger Paulette Greenberg garnered 684 votes (21.46%).
Kevin Richards, who is seeking the two-year vacancy in an uncontested race, had 1,446 votes.
The turnout in the Cook County precincts for Buffalo Grove was 15.16%
With vote-by-mail votes and early votes counted, and all precincts counted, Johnson had 1,267 votes (28.48%), Ottenheimer 1,235 (27.76%) and Bocek 1,171 (26.32%). Greenberg had 776 votes (17.44%).
Richards had 1,390 votes.
Voter turnout in Lake County was 14.73%
