Police identify suspect, victims in double homicide


The man being sought for allegedly shooting a Buffalo Grove couple to death has been identified by Buffalo Grove Police as 64-year-old Anatoliy Ermak, the ex-husband of the female victim.

Police made the announcement in a press release and ensuring press conference. At the press conference, investigators said Ermak is the ex-husband of the slain woman, Nataliya Ermak, 55. She and her husband, Roman Frid, 69, we murdered Sunday night in the garage of the condominium building at 150 Lake Boulevard in Cambridge on the Lake where the couple lived.
            The Chicago Tribune is reporting that, according to Buffalo Grove Police Chief Steve Casstevens, Nataliya Ermak and Anatoliy Ermak divorced “several” years ago. The Tribune reports that investigators believe Ermak acted alone and have not determined a motive for the killings.
Police say Anatoliy Ermak, 64, should be considered armed and dangerous. He may be driving a white Nissan Versa hatchback with Florida license plate – KCFK75.
