The village of Buffalo
Grove is planning to post information about the coronavirus (COVID 19) its
website in the near future.
Brian
Sheehan, who acts as the village health officer, said the village is monitoring
information from the state and county health departments. While no cases of the
coronoavirus have been reported in Buffalo Grove, two have been reported in
Arlington Heights, with one person hospitalized at Northwest Community
Hospital.
Sheehan
said the village is encouraging residents to follow widely publicized preventive
measures including:
- Frequent hand washing
- Use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Covering mouth when coughing
- Stay home from work or school if you are or feel ill.
